This weekend the kiddos and I went back home to Manhattan for the St.Patrick's Day parade and to see my bro who came into town as well. We had a lot of fun, except the parade part, it was AWFUL!! It was freezing cold, no parking, super crowded and then the parade started late! I couldn't wait to get out of that place and we left early. We went back to Dad's and took naps instead, and Pax was totally ok with that :) We watched half of the K-State game at Willies (no comment on that game by the way, I am not ready to talk about it) and then headed to Amber's so the boys could run around and play. They are so funny together, their favorite game is chasing each other and screaming, not fun on the ears but hilarious to watch. Sunday I sent Pax out to hang out with Papa so sissy and I could sleep later and it was HEAVEN!! My Dad cooked a huge seafood feast for lunch; crab legs, jumbo shrimp, scallops, etc etc etc. I miss my Dad's cooking and especially our Sunday dinners. I love having my whole family together and just sitting around talking eating and laughing (and believe me we do lots of all of those things)!! We missed Sarah though, she moved to KC this weekend (also not ready to talk about this) so she wasn't able to come home. It just wasn't the same without her and Derek and Zoey. All in all it was a relaxing weekend back home. I was glad to get back to El Dorado though and have the kiddos in their own rooms, I had to share a bed/room with them all weekend and between Pax sleeping sideways in bed with me and Harper moving around so much in the pack and play, I didn't get much sleep :) This time change is nice though, both kids slept in this morning, we actually had to wake Pax up! His allergies are starting to bother him so I know spring must be just around the corner, I LOVE spring I HATE allergies, I just wish we could have one without the other.....time to stock up on the childrens Zyrtec!!
PS-How excited am I that K-State is in the big tourney?......SO EXCITED...GO CATS!

WHEN HE WOKE UP THIS MORNING HE WENT AND LAID ON HARPER'S BOUNCER AND THEY WATCHED MICKEY MOUSE TOGETHER.
I love love love the pics of Paxton. Did you get a new camera? The bottom pic is too cute! I love Harpers facial expression and how Pax is hanging on to her foot. I miss you guys SO much! I need to get a camera for the computer so we can skype!
ReplyDeleteno, no new camera, just playin around with my basic photo software on my computer. i know the pic of him holding her leg cracked me up, he started out holding her hand.....AAAWWWW:)
